The Peugeot E7 taxi has been a great success since its introduction in 1990. It is a purpose-built taxi, designed specifically from the ground up to work successfully and economically in the tough and high mileage taxi sector. The Peugeot E7 taxi is based on the Peugeot Expert Tepee. One of the reasons for its popularity in the taxi market is that it has an immediate and important advantage over many other cabs, in that it can seat up to seven passengers. This makes the Peugeot E7 taxi a very flexible choice and allows it to take on jobs with larger groups that other taxis couldn?t accommodate.
The Peugeot E7 taxi also has a number of other innovative features to set it apart from the pack. Useful features of the Peugeot E7 taxi include the EasySlide rear seating system, which allows the driver to choose between maximum seats or increased luggage space as desired. Many models also have the FareAssist door system for quick release and easier passenger access. The EasyGlide ramp, meanwhile, provides easy wheelchair access and conveniently folds away under the floor when not in use.
The Peugeot E7 taxi is licensed for use in 93% of UK local authority areas, making it an excellent choice throughout the country. It comes in three model levels of S, SE and XS, along with a Plus version, which is 12?

Which taxi Step to buy? There are 2 big decisions. Power and size! The first decision is whether a foot operated step is the right choice or whether Powered Steps are required.
Some authorities insist on powered steps. A foot operated step is usually operated by the driver, rather than passengers. An electric step is operated from the driver’s cab or can be automatically operated by the door. In either case the step will always close when the door closes if it is wired in this way. With foot operated steps we recommend a warning buzzer to indicate if the step is left out.

Not so much in case it hits a person (that really does not happen because the wing mirrors protrude further than even a deployed step!) but in order to prevent damaging the step on a high kerb. The second decision is size. We offer steps from 450x200mm (18x8”) to 1000mmx300mm (39x12”). In general the size of step is dictated by the size of the vehicle. Datsun 240z manual. Smaller vehicles with less groundclearance require slimmer steps such as the SL range.
